VLH: Your Plant Collection — Terms & Conditions

“Velvet Leaf House” is a project of 10X Labs GmbH.

2. Service

The App is a free digital catalogue for houseplant collectors. You can record your plants with photos, purchase details, locations, care instructions and notes. Your entries are stored in your personal account and are only visible to you.

3. Account

To use the App you must create an account with a valid email address and a password, and confirm your email address. You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Your content

All plants, photos and notes you add (“Your Content”) remain yours. You grant us the technical right to store, process and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App to you. We do not publish Your Content and do not use it for advertising. You must not upload content that is illegal or infringes the rights of others. Where Your Content includes details about other people — such as the name of a seller you bought from, or of someone you sold, traded or gave a plant to — you are responsible for those entries; please keep them to what you actually need.

5. Free service

The App is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce optional paid features in the future; anything free at the time you use it will not become payable retroactively for that use.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates or circumstances outside our control may cause temporary interruptions. We recommend keeping your own copies of photos that are important to you.

7. Termination and deletion

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account directly in the App (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes your data and photos. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for personal injury. For slight negligence we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of free service. The App is provided “as is”; to the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it is free of defects.

9. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms where necessary (e.g. for legal reasons or new features). We will inform you about material changes in the App. If you do not agree, you may stop using the App and delete your account.

10. Applicable law

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
